The members of the GLOHUM project have continued with the efforts focused on the dissemination of the expert knowledge among the ones which will one day continue with the research of history and historical sites – the students. Student workshop “Contemporary Approaches to the Research of the Cultural and Historical Heritage” has been carried out on the island of Rab, September 24th-27th 2021.

The students have had the opportunity to see, try and discuss with the experts some of the 21st century methods and approaches in the research, documentation and presentation of the cultural heritage. Besides the Project Director Prof M. Jurković, PostDoc J. Behaim and three PhD candidates (F. Lovrić, I. Kranjec, P. Krleža), other project members and experts have held lectures and practice sessions: historians Prof N. Budak (University of Zagreb) and Assist. Prof G. Bilogrivić (University of Rijeka), art historian and conservator Prof M. Bradanović (University of Rijeka), archaeologists Prof A. Chavarria, Prof G.P. Brogiolo and PostDoc P. Vedovetto from the University of Padua, PostDoc M. Beghelli (Alexander von Humboldt Foundation) and J. Pinar Gil (University of Hradec Králové), and sociologist J. Vukić (University of Zagreb).
