{"id":314,"date":"2021-11-05T00:13:42","date_gmt":"2021-11-05T00:13:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/glohum.ffzg.unizg.hr\/?p=314"},"modified":"2021-11-08T12:44:49","modified_gmt":"2021-11-08T12:44:49","slug":"international-colloquium-medieval-humanisms-medieval-renaissances","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/glohum.ffzg.unizg.hr\/index.php\/2021\/11\/05\/international-colloquium-medieval-humanisms-medieval-renaissances\/","title":{"rendered":"International Colloquium &#8220;Medieval Humanisms, Medieval Renaissances&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><br>The 28th annual colloquium, held on the island of Rab, was organized by the <a href=\"https:\/\/irclama.ffzg.unizg.hr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">International Research Centre for Late Antiquity and Middle Ages<\/a>, in close cooperation with the GLOHUM project, financed by the Croatian Science Foundation. The colloquium was dedicated to the main subject of the GLOHUM project, the renaissances, with the title<strong>&nbsp;<em>Medieval humanisms, medieval renaissances \u2013 do they exist and how are they manifested between Antiquity and the Renaissance<\/em><\/strong>. Due to the new pandemic reality, but also thanks to the <a href=\"https:\/\/glohum.ffzg.unizg.hr\/index.php\/2020\/10\/22\/colloquium_2020\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">successful experience from the last year<\/a>, the colloquium was held in the hybrid form, both online and&nbsp;<em>in vivo<\/em>&nbsp;in the city of Rab, from the 30th of September to the 3rd of October 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It has gathered 35 art historians, historians, archaeologists and architects from Europe and Japan who presented 28 papers concerning different questions regarding the problem of the renaissances. Moreover, nine project GLOHUM collaborators presented their research: X. Barral i Altet, J. Behaim, I. Kranjec, P. Krle\u017ea, F. Lovri\u0107, G. Bilogrivi\u0107, P. Markovi\u0107, M. Bradanovi\u0107 and N. Budak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides the presentations within the sessions<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/glohum.ffzg.unizg.hr\/index.php\/2021\/11\/05\/presentation-of-dissertationes-et-monographiae-17-oct-2nd-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\">, the new, seventeenth issue of\u00a0scientific series <em>Dissertationes et Monographiae<\/em>\u00a0was presented<\/a>: <em>Mens acris in corpore commodo.
