Comments Off on New equipment for scientific research

The research team has acquired new state-of-the-art equipment for digital documentation of the cultural heritage: digital 3D scanner Artec Eva for the three-dimensional scanning of the smaller artifacts (such as sculpture), versatile UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) for the photogrammetric documentation of the architecture and terrain, as well as a new total station with GNSS device for the process of surveying and georeferencing the objects.

The team has also organized educational sessions for the research assistants, collaborators and students in order to secure a successful implementation of the contemporary methods of the documentation of heritage, needed for the further development of our sciences.
