The island of Rab, Croatia has witnessed an intensive course of scientific activities organized within the GLOHUM project and led by the project coordinator, Prof. Miljenko Jurković.

In rather different circumstances than usual, the 27th International Colloquium, titled “Liturgical installations and their sculpture (4-15 c.)”, was successfully held in the city of Rab October 1-4, 2020. A large number of Croatian and international experts from the fields of art history, history and archaeology gathered (physically and online) in order to present new results of their research on the Late Antique and medieval heritage. The international symposium followed a round table, held September 30th, dedicated to the topic of medieval humanisms and renaissances, which gathered project’s participants.

During the autumn activities, three new valuable scientific publications were presented: the new 26th issue of the scientific journal “Hortus Artium Medievalium”, the book of proceedings dedicated to art historian and professor emeritus Nikola Jakšić “Festschrift in honor of Professor Nikola Jakšić” (ed. I. Josipović, M. Jurković) and the book “Être historien de l ‘architecture dans la France des XXe et XXIe siècles. Des Ego-histoires et des Vies” (ed. I. Timbert).
